Once Otis settled into his New York City home which was quite a difference from his country home in Texas, he began recall training from his new owner, Hugh. They are fortunate to have a large indoor training area. This enabled Hugh and Otis to get the recall perfect before attempting to fly outdoors. Once he felt comfortable with the indoor recall, Otis was allowed to free fly in Central Park! And while this is not for everyone, it is an awesome sight indeed!
